Der mit einer Negation leicht ver\u00e4nderte und in Fachkreisen bekannte Begriff aus der Programmiersprache bildet die thematische Grundlage der Installation im ZAGREUS-Projekt.<\/p>\n

\u00abWYSIWYG \u2013 What You See Is What You Get\u00bb ist die Bezeichnung f\u00fcr eine Bildschirmwiedergabe, die identisch ist mit dem Ausdruck auf Papier, bezw. der Anzeige durch das Ausgabeprogramm. Der Begriff WYSIWYG entstand w\u00e4hrend der sp\u00e4ten 70er Jahre am Xerox Palo Alto Research Center als der erste WYSIWYG Editor \u201eBravo\u201c auf dem Alto etwickelt wurde. Die Forscher benutzten mit WYSIWYG eine Abk\u00fcrzung f\u00fcr ein damals popul\u00e4res Schlagwort das von \u201eGeraldine\u201c, einer Figur aus der amerikanischen Kom\u00f6die \u201eThe Filip Wilson Show\u201c, ins Leben gerufen wurde (\u201eWhat you see is what you get, honey!\u201c). Weiter wurde der Begriff anfang der 80er Jahre im Zusammenhang mit Desktop Publishing und Textverarbeitungsprogrammen verwendet. WYSIWIG unterst\u00fctzt u.a. Programme, welche das Editieren von Webseiten auch ohne HTML-Kenntnisse erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>\n

Wie wirklich ist nun die Wirklichkeit in der Bilderflut des digitalen Zeitalters oder auf der gen\u00fcsslich zum Mund gef\u00fchrten Gabel? W\u00e4hrend der Ausstellung werden die G\u00e4ste zu Akteuren im Spiel mit der Wahrnehmung und der Sinn-bildung.<\/p>\n

\"WYSINWYG940\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Der Speiseraum ist die Inszenierung einer Filmb\u00fchne, auf welchem Soap Operas gedreht werden k\u00f6nnten. Die Stimmung erinnert an ein b\u00fcrgerliches Interieur eines verarmten Adels. Neben realen Objekten wie Tisch, St\u00fchle, Lampen und Teppich sind viele Komponenten der Installation imitiert, wie das Kaminfeuer aus bemaltem Plastik, die Backsteine aus Holz, der Parkett aus PVC, die Malerei an der Wand als Kunstdruck oder die in Holzstruktur bemalte Wandt\u00e4ferung.<\/p>\n

Als Teil der Installation werden die G\u00e4ste eingeladen, die zwei gebauten B\u00fchnen aktiv zu nutzen. Die Filmkulissen werden zu Spielpl\u00e4tzen der Realit\u00e4t, wo sonst Fiktionen und Projektionsfl\u00e4chen einer subjektiven Realit\u00e4t entstehen.
\nAuch die servierten Speisen sind nicht, was sie zu sein scheinen. Ob ein mit Fisch gef\u00fcllter Spanferkel oder s\u00fcsse Tortelloni als Dessert – Verl\u00e4ssliches \u00fcber die optische Ungewissheit k\u00f6nnen nur die Geschmacksrezeptoren vermitteln.<\/p>\n

Die Revolutionsb\u00fchne tr\u00e4gt den Glamour einer Show in B-Movie Qualit\u00e4t. Farbige Filmlampen beleuchten die Szene. Dem Gast wird freigestellt, in der Show \u00abRevolution\u00bb auf der B\u00fchne eine entsprechende Selbstdarstellung aufzuf\u00fchren – die G\u00e4ste werden Zeugen und Mitstreiter dieser kurzen Proklamation.<\/p>\n

Wie beim Fernsehen bewegt sich der Betrachter im Spannungsfeld von Realit\u00e4t, Inszenierung und T\u00e4uschung – nur ist in diesem Fall alles sinnlich Erfahrbare echt.<\/p>\n
