Zuzanna Skiba works on a complex of works based on memories as well as on concrete experiences.
She often creates serial works that are examples of mental cartography. They are inner and outer landscapes that can constantly change. In this way, she observes the world with all its topographical, political and personal information.
The series of works depict a combined view from different perspectives: from above, from the centre, or from below. The result is a mental landscape with the fascination of the endless cycle.
For the Zagreus project, Zuzanna Skiba has created a series of ceramic plates that also represent a topography as a carrier for food. The individual foods and dishes are applied to the plate according to the specifications, creating an edible landscape.
